OUR STORY Welcome to my online store Bijou By Jules...run by me , Jules. Just a little about me..... My name is Julia Louden, I have been passionate about jewellery, handbags and accessories and probably all things fancy for as long as I can remember. I studied at college in Nottingham & Nottingham University for a while in art, textiles and also silversmithing , & I just loved creating things which included, painting, jewellery & making hats which I used to sell at Djanogly art Gallery in Nottingham. Although I didn't initially have the time to create much when I started my business I have recently started making jewellery again in my own little workshop to sell in my online store along side selling jewellery by other jewellery designers and makers. I just love and appreciate the craftmanship that goes into jewellery and accessories and also get the pleasure of wearing it myself. Some years ago I had a successful little boutique/shop in Beeston Nottinghamshire called The Silver Tree which I loved so much..., creating ,buying, displaying ,window dressing, meeting new people ..customers etc ..etc. I loved and lived my little store. I realised then that I had the eye for finding, & hunting out attractive accessories that people love. I had many many lovely & very loyal customers, a proper little community, which even now after 15 years , I am still in touch with & some I have created life long friends with. Unfortunately due to Tram works being built in the town I had to close my little shop. My life then dramatically changed , I met my lovely now husband & moved down to beautiful Wiltshire, we live on a farm near Bath, with our two whippets ,two cats, ducks and chickens My dream was to always set up again, making & selling jewellery so here I am...with the support of my lovely husband... my online boutique...Bijou By Jules. I have a little workshop and love making jewellery pieces in sterling silver, I'm in my absolute element. My inspiration comes from anything from, rural countryside, coastal, the sea, holidays in Cornwall, Lyme Regis in Dorset, beautiful Greece & my Love and obsession for Ibiza. I love blues & turquoise and also I love Paris and anything French. My collections are created by a few different jewellery designers and by myself here in Wiltshire . I search for jewellery that is ethically sourced that doesn't cost the earth. Our jewellery collections are hand crafted in 925 Sterling Silver. All orders are carefully and lovingly packed by myself here in Wiltshire. We have two methods of shipping. Royal mail fully tracked 48 hours £3.50 and Royal mail fully tracked 24 hours £4.50 for UK. All overseas orders £10 Shipping And Delivery All orders are carefully packed by me, Jules , here in Somerset. -All orders are tracked 48 hour delivery £3.85. Sometimes if the item happens to be out of stock it may take 3-4 working days but more often than not all items are usually in stock and it will be posted the same day if ordered before 11am or sent out the following day . It will state on the website next to the item if there is a delay or you will be notified by email or message via the website. -Any orders over £50 are free shipping . Bijou By Jules is not responsible for any Royal Mail delays. We send out all our parcels by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked or 24 hour tracked so once your parcel has been dispatched and then if your order has been delayed , please contact Royal Mail with your tracking number.
